Book your Launch Party & Announce your Business
By now you should have hopped on the phone with your Madison and talked about your first order and your first party! Schedule your first party with your Madison (if you haven't already) And announce your business on social media!
Next is advertizing that you are open for business. You first want to make sure that your social media platforms are either Creator or Professional accounts. This keeps you in line with facebook & Mary Kay social media guidelines and allows you more flexability when posting with not as many rules as a normal social media account.
Once you have made this change to your account, go ahead and post about why you joined Mary Kay! Make sure to include a picture! It's okay if you don't have a lot of engagement at first, it comes with time. The important thing is that you just START <3Example of what you could say:
"Hi friends! 💕
I’m so excited to share that I’ve officially started my journey as a Beauty Influencer with Mary Kay, the #1 brand of skincare and color cosmetics in the world! 💄✨Skincare has always been something I’m passionate about, and I love getting to help other women feel confident, beautiful, and cared for in their own skin.To celebrate, I’m hosting my Business Launch Party on March 3rd at 6 PM, and I would absolutely love for you to come! 🎉If you’d like to attend, just comment “RSVP” and I’ll add you to the guest list. Let's Talk about HOW you want to sell. There are 3 common ways consultants can sell Mary Kay. I encourage you to watch each 1 minute video to learn about each option. Each one different, but I personally love working my business in all the ways, but if you are partial to one, that's okay! After all, it's your business! Can I help you find something you will love!?"Here is a script you can use to start texting and finding your first 10 customers, even before your party! This is so fun! In the beginning, it can sort-of feel like selling Girl Scout Cookies. It might feel like you are just looking for someone to support you. That is normal! They may buy from you in the beginning to support you, but they will continue to buy from you because they will be hooked on the product. You can do this!
